Senior ERP Technology Specialist Monster Resume #8096957

SYNOPSIS

Mr Steel's was a OneWorld Technical Launch Manager for the JD Edwards European Division (SUMAH).  In that role, he helped architect the JD Edwards OneWorld Product, educating both future JD Edwards OneWorld consultants and customers who were trying to understand how to implement the new software across Europe and Asia.

During his tenure at JD Edwards, he helped manage a number of high profile Global projects and implementations.  In 1997, Mr Steel moved to Denver, Colorado to help create the Worldwide Advanced Technology group in JD Edwards Corporate office – a group that spearheaded how implementations were to be performed, and methodologies that customers used to create successful installations of the ERP software.

Mr Steel worked closely with customers to advocate their needs and requirements back to Development, and was a founder member of a team that created the JD Edwards Implementation Approach methodology - adopted by the majority of customers and partners as a standard method to correctly implement OneWorld and JD Edwards products.

Mr Steel also founded the Scalability Group - a department that provided Test Benchmarks to show how OneWorld scalability and stability could be measured at customer sites.  His role was both project manager and architect in this team - and many successful whitepapers and benchmarks were published.

In 2001, Mr Steel returned as an independent OneWorld Consultant and Technical Architect.  He specializes in Upgrades as well as Technical Troubleshooting and providing advice on complex architectures from JD Edwards, and has managed several major Projects at various client sites across the US.  Many of these projects were large in size - often in excess of 1000 concurrent users, and always with significant transactions.

Mr Steel has experience both with the Toolset and the Business Applications as well - being able to create complex business requirements and often being able to provide solutions with detail to developers.

With more than 15 years of experience in Networking, Small and Mid-size systems, Enterprise Database systems and ERP systems, he is well adapted to help create strategic direction for your ERP Implementation.

Mr Steel holds an MSC in Enterprise Network Management from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK.
